BRIEF
The bill would establish that volunteers providing assistance to victims of Hurricane Katrina would be exempt from liability for injuries resulting from providing that aid unless the injuries are caused by “willful, wanton, reckless or criminal conduct that constitutes a violation of a federal or state civil rights law.”
