H.R.814 To require the Consumer Product Safety Commission to issue regulations mandating child-resistant closures on all portable gasoline containers.

 

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is directed to promulgate child-resistant product safety standards for closures on portable gasoline containers.

 

The Commission will report to Congress in two years on the degree of industry compliance with regard to the standards and any incidents involving children interacting with the portable gas containers.
