H.R.2828 To provide compensation to relatives of United States citizens who were killed as a result of the bombings of United States Embassies in East Africa on August 7, 1998.
The bill would provide compensation to the relatives of the US citizens who were killed in the bombing of the US embassies in East Africa on August 7, 1998.
Eligible recipients are US citizens who were present at the US Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya or Dar es Salaam, Tanzania at the time or in the immediate aftermath of the bombings and died as a result. The compensation is to be equitably distributed among the personal representatives of the descendants of those eligible individuals.
