H.R.6121 To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to reauthorize a program relating to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin, and for other purposes.

 

The Clean Water Act, a 1972 law officially entitled the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, is modified regarding Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana. The provision in the Act referred to as “wet weather watershed pilot projects” is impacted, positively, by extending the authorization of appropriations through 2011. The bill does not appropriate funding. Appropriations will be considered in other environmental oriented bills.
