H.J.RES.100 Making further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year 2007, and for other purposes.
What with Congress not completing the spending bills for the various departments by the end of the 2006 fiscal year (September 30) it must pass this Resolution to continue funding the government at fiscal year 2006 levels until the bills are passed.
This is the second extension. The first extension was included in the FY 2007 Department of Defense appropriations bill that the President signed recently. Under Division B of that law the funding was to continue until November 17, 2006. This Resolution amends the bill to continue funding at the 2006 level until December 8, 2006.
