S.888 A bill to amend section 1091 of title 18, United States Code, to allow the prosecution of genocide in appropriate circumstances.

 

Some modifications to existing law add to the circumstances surrounding allegations of genocide. Now included is an offense committed in whole or in part within the US, that the offender is a US national or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the US or a stateless person whose habitual residence in the US or after an offense the individual is brought into or found in the US as prosecutable even if the act happened outside the US.
