H.R.4911 To temporarily extend the programs under the Higher Education Act of 1965, and for other purposes.

 

Among the few things extended by this bill is the time limit under which the limitation on special allowance payments for loans from funds gathered by tax-exempt (bond) issues that was enacted in the Taxpayer-Teacher Protection Act and the period in which eligible teachers must become new borrowers to qualify for the higher loan forgiveness amounts authorized by the TTPA.
