The Ojito Wilderness Act passed in 2005 to secure in trust for the Pueblo Indians in New Mexico approximately 11,200 acres of the National Wilderness Preservation System based on a map in existence as of October 1, 2004. For no reason given, this bill changes the date of the ‘official’ map to January 24, 2006.
