S.1537 A bill to authorize the transfer of certain funds from the Senate Gift Shop Revolving Fund to the Senate Employee Child Care Center.

 

The Secretary of the Senate is authorized to transfer from the Senate Gift Shop Revolving Fund to the Senate Employee Child Care Center proceed from the sale of holiday ornaments. The funds are to be used for necessary Center activities and may be used for scholarships, educational supplies and equipment.

 

Sponsor:  Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA)

Vote: Passed Senate May 25, 2007 by unanimous consent.

Cost to the taxpayers: No discernible cost.
