H.R.2356 To amend title 4, United States Code, to encourage the display of the flag of the United States on Father's Day.

 

The US Code provides for occasions to display the US flag although the flag can be flown on any day. This bill codifies into existing law the recognition that Father’s Day, the third Sunday in June is appropriate for flying the flag in recognition of the Day.

Vote: Passed House 386 to 0 June 11, 2007 (RC 448). Passed Senate by Unanimous Consent June 14, 2007.
