Presidential Notice-Continuation of the national emergency with respect to the Western Balkans.

 

The President declared a national emergency by Executive Order 13219 in 2001 to deal with persons sponsoring, assisting or supporting extremist violence in the Republic of Macedonia and elsewhere in the Western Balkans. The EO included acts obstructing implementation of the Dayton Accord in Bosnia or UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in Kosovo.

 

The EO was amended in 2003. The EO is continued through this notice.
