H.R.716 Santa Rosa Urban Water Reuse Plan Act'.

 

The Secretary of Interior is authorized to participate with the City of Santa Rosa, CA in the design, planning and construction of the Santa Rosa Urban Water Reuse Plan.

 

The Federal Government share will not exceed 25% and the Federal participation goes back to cover money already spent by Santa Rosa before this bill is enacted. No funds can be used for operations and maintenance.

 

Sponsor:  Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-CA-6th)

Vote: Passed House by voice vote July 23, 2007

Cost to the taxpayers: $20 million.
