H.R.465 To reauthorize the Asian Elephant Conservation Act of 1997.
Within the Asian Elephant Conservation Act of 1997 is the Multinational Species Conservation Fund. This bill authorizes appropriations to that Fund.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service uses the Fund to help finance research and conservation programs overseas. In this case helping to protect the Asian elephant from extinction.
