H.R.1526 To amend the Reclamation Wastewater and Groundwater Study and Facilities Act to authorize the Bay Area Regional Water Recycling Program, and for other purposes.
The Secretary is authorized to participate in design, planning and construction of recycled water projects with Palo Alto and Mountain View, California; Pittsburg, California, and the Delta Diablo Sanitation District; Antioch, California, and the Delta Diablo Sanitation District; the North Coast County Water District; Redwood City, California; the South County Regional Wastewater Authority and the Santa Clara Valley Water District; and San Jose, California, and the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
The Federal share will be 25% $1.4 million for Pittsburg, CA; $2.25 million for Antioch, CA; $2.5 million for North Coast WD; $1.2 million for Redwood City, CA; $7 million for Santa Clara County; $8.5 million for South Bay, CA and amounts necessary to fully found the San Jose project.
