H.R.5187 To amend the John F. Kennedy Center Act to authorize additional appropriations for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for fiscal year 2007.

 

The additional funds authorized in this bill would be spent for maintenance and repair, and capital projects of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The increase over previously authorized appropriations would total $3.1 million. Operations and maintenance would increase from $18 million to $19.1 million, capital projects would be raised from $18 million to $20 million.

Cost to the taxpayers: "Assuming appropriation of the authorized amounts, outlays for those purposes would increase by $3 million over the 2007-2011 period."
