BRIEF

   The Resolution states that the House ‘is grateful for the support of the people and Government of Portugal; commends the Government of Portugal and the Portuguese people for their friendship, leadership, and support; commends the bravery of all members of the Portuguese armed forces who have participated in the effort to bring an end to international terrorism; and expects the unique friendship between the United States and Portugal to continue.
