H.R.235 To allow for the renegotiation of the payment schedule of contracts between the Secretary of the Interior and the Redwood Valley County Water District, and for other purposes.

 

The Redwood Valley County Water District is authorized to enter into non-federal financing contracts to pay for the procurement of dedicated water rights and improvements if the Secretary of Interior and the District have not renegotiated payment schedules for loans made to the District by the US.

 

The renegotiated payments would begin when the additional non-federal obligations have been paid. The date the repayments begin mark the onset of interest on the loan.
