BRIEF
The bill takes on several disconnected and unresolved issues regarding Native American law and other related matters.
Primarily the bill provides that tribes are authorized to purchase privately owned land with which to add to fractionalized parts of reservations. Fair market value must be paid. Tribal interest can also be sold.
