H.R.3422 To amend the United States Housing Act of 1937 to exempt small public housing agencies from the requirement of preparing an annual public housing agency plan.
BRIEF
The bill would relieve small public housing authorities from the requirement of producing and annual plan if the authority administers 250 or fewer dwellings and Section 8 vouchers (rental assistance units), is not a financially or otherwise legally troubled agency and assures residents that they continue to have the opportunity “for participation and notice regarding establishment of the goals, objectives, and policies” of the agency.
Sponsor: Representative Randy Neugebauer (R-TX-19th)
