HR 5363 to authorize salary adjustments for Justices and judges of the US for FY 2005.
BRIEF
The bill would provide for a cost of living adjustment for Federal judges following a similar increase last fiscal year.
In 1997 Congress passed a law that required unlike members of Congress and Federal employees and others an act of Congress for the judges to get the increase. The increase would be 2.5 percent.
Judges make on the average, $150,000 per year.
