H.R.6073 To provide that Federal employees receiving their pay by electronic funds transfer shall be given the option of receiving their pay stubs electronically.
Federal employees who receive their pay electronically receive a printed pay stub. Under this bill they would also be able to opt to have their pay stubs transmitted electronically.
Although, according to the CBO, the bill would cost nothing, it also reports that all federal employees already have the option.
Sponsor: Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC-5th) Vote: Passed House by voice vote July 30, 2008 . Passed Senate.
