Executive Order 13429 establishing an emergency board to investigate a dispute between Metro-North Railroad and its maintenance of way employees represented by the Teamsters Union.
The board will was preceded by another but the sides in the dispute did not accept the recommendations. This new board, effective April 6, 2007, will investigate the dispute. After 30 days the parties will submit final settlement offers to the board that will then decide on the most reasonable offer and submit a report to the President. The board is then terminated.
